Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub is an American comedian, actress, and activist. Her parents were Jewish parents in the Soviet Union and started her career as a child actress when she relocated to the United States. Her appearances as Lily Adams in AT&T TV commercials from 2013 to 2016 - and then in 2020 - have made her famous. In addition to her commercial appearances, she was an actor in the series on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). Also, she was regular on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016–2017). Vayntrub was originally cast as the character Squirrel Girls in Marvel Rising's unaired pilot for New Warriors in 2018, was voiced in that role since. Vayntrub was born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic, USSR, and is Jewish. At the age of 2 she left with her parents to the U.S. to escape antisemitism. She was able to settle in West Hollywood. Due to the family's financial troubles the actress began appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials as a five-year-old. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. She dropped out of school following her sophomore year. She obtained a GED and later went on to get a Bachelor of Arts (Communication) from University of California San Diego. As part of the Upright Citizens Brigade she studied the art of improv comedy.
