  Jacques Bermon Webster I, born April 30th, 1990 more commonly known as Travis Scott (formerly Travi$ Scott), is a popular American artist and rapper. His stage name is a tribute to the name of his favorite uncle, paired with the name of one of his heroes, Kid Cudi (whose real name is Scott Mescudi).In 2012, Scott signed his first major label contract with Epic Records and a publishing agreement with Kanye West's GOOD Music. In April 2013 the singer-songwriter signed a joint-recording agreement with Epic and T.I. Then, he launched his Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first project of full length, Owl Pharaoh (mixtape) was released in the year 2013 by self-release. In 2013 Scott released the mixtape on his own Owl Phaoh. A second mixtape, Days Before Rodeo was released in 2014. His debut studio album, Rodeo (2015), was a hit due to the single "Antidote". His second album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first top-ranked album on the Billboard 200. Scott released Birds in the Trap Sing McCKnight (2016) alongside Quavo, under the collective name Huncho Jack. In the year 2018, Astroworld was released to praise from the critics. It produced his first Billboard Hot 100 top 100 single, "Sicko Mode" feat. Drake. Scott's Cactus Jack Records album JackBoys debut on the Billboard 200 in late 2019. After the single "Franchise", Scott (featuring Young Thug) and M.I.A. were released, it was a top hit on the Billboard 200. Scott was the first Hot 100 artist to have three songs hit the top of the list in less than a decade in 2020.
